The Diocese of Baton Rouge Youth and Young Adult Ministry is sponsoring an Arise Middle School Rally, ARISE. The event will take place Saturday, March 7, 1– 9 p.m., at St. Alphonsus Church, 1440 Greenwell Springs Road, Greenwell Springs. Emcee will be Rachael Duchmann, assistant campus minister at St. Joseph's Academy in Baton Rouge. Keynote speaker with be Father Brad Doyle, pastor of Our Lady of Mt. Our diocese will take up The Catholic Relief Services Collection. Your support of this collection serves Jesus in disguise in some of the most marginalized communities in our world.

The Collection for the Holy Land, in the words of Paul VI is "not only for the Holy Places but above all for those pastoral, charitable, educational, and social works which the Church supports in the Holy Land for the welfare of their Christian brethren and of the local communities." The Holy Land collection is taken up in most parishes on Good Friday.

Registration is now open for the All Are Welcome - "This is Holy Ground" Family Retreat. This retreat is planned for all members of the exceptional needs family - dad, mom, siblings, and those with exceptional needs. The day will include sessions for the entire family, sessions for each family member, activities, lunch, Adoration, and confession. Volunteers will be on hand and ready to serve to ensure a safe and spiritual day. Registration required. Space is limited.
