In a sacred Holy Week tradition, Bishop Michael G. Duca, fellow clergy and lay faithful gathered at St. Joseph Cathedral to recognize their foundational oneness as the anointed ones of God during the Annual Chrism Mass on March 26.

Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Baton Rouge hosted its Way of the Cross on Good Friday, March 29. The 14-station route started at St. Joseph Cathedral and proceeded through the State Capitol grounds and ended at the Cathedral. The event, themed “Way of the Cross: Passion of Christ, Passion of the World,” provided the community with the opportunity to unite, pray and reflect on social injustices in the world.Photos by Debbie Shelley | The Catholic Commentator
