More than 50 boats will follow a Eucharistic procession on the Diversion Canal through Livingston and Ascension parishes on Saturday, April 20, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m.

David C. Aguillard will step down as executive director of Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Baton Rouge effective June 30, 2024, Bishop Michael G. Duca announced today. 

Bishop Duca has appointed Fr. Miles Walsh, a retired priest of the Diocese of Baton Rouge, as Administrator of St. Helena Church in Amite.  It is the Bishop’s intention to name a new pastor of the parish in the coming months.
