In Memoriam: Father Tom Duhe

It is with sadness that the Diocese of Baton Rouge informs the faithful of the death of Fr. Tom Duhe, a retired priest of our diocese, who passed away on 15 September 2025.  Before his retirement, he served as Pastor of St. Thomas More in Baton Rouge.  He also served a variety of other parishes and ministries including at St. Louis, King of France, St. Charles Borromeo, St. Patrick, St. Aloysius, and St. George, all in Baton Rouge, Immaculate Conception in Lakeland, St. Alphonsus Liguori in Greenwell Springs, St. John the Baptist in Zachary, and St. Mary of False River in New Roads.  
 
Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him.
 
Funeral arrangements are as follows:
 
Visitation will be at St. Thomas More Church in Baton Rouge on Friday, 19 September 2025 at 8:00AM with the Rosary prayed at 9:00AM.  The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00AM with the burial to follow at Resthaven.
