Risk Management

The Office of Risk Management is responsible for the insurance programs covering all of the entities, personnel, and volunteers of the Diocese of Baton Rouge through its property, liability, workers’ compensation, and other insurance policies. 

In collaboration with legal and insurance professionals and consultants, the office reviews proposals, interprets diocesan and civil regulations and policies, and negotiates with brokers. 

The Risk Management Office creates a culture of awareness and communicates this by conducting workshops, loss control visits, and fully participating in the emergency planning for the Diocese of Baton Rouge.
