
The OCYP Policy Advisory Board serves as an advisory council to the Director, Office of Child and Youth Protection and Victim Assistance, in policy development involving articles 12 and 13 of the Charter for the Protection of Children and Young People. The board discusses the workings of the various policies and procedures designed to create a safe faith environment for protected individuals in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Baton Rouge. The members are appointed by the Director, Office of Child and Youth Protection and Victim Assistance.
The board is composed of nine church, school and agency-appointed Child Protection Site Coordinators, the Director and Assistant to the Director, of the Office of Child and Youth Protection and Victim Assistance.
