Deacon Byron Bordelon, III

Byron was born and raised in Chalmette. After coming to LSU for college, he made Prairieville home. His wife, Deirdre, and  Byron have been happily married for 26 years, and they are blessed with four children. Byron works for AnSer Answering Service and has been doing this since 1989. He enjoys this work because it is important for him to do something of value in service to others. His journey to the Diaconate began 38 years ago, when his mother said that he would make a good Deacon one day. The final “nudge” occurred during an A.C.T.S. retreat. Byron notes that we should always be open to let the Holy Spirit work us to help others grow closer to God.
