July 24, 2026Dear Reader,
As July ends, we are reminded of the many ways God is at work through His Church. In this edition of The Collect, we explore stories of faith, formation, service, and community from across our diocese.
You’ll read Bishop Duca’s statement regarding the SSPX and the importance of remaining united in communion with the Church. We also look to the example of married saints who show us that holiness is possible in the vocation of marriage, while practical guidance for families and support through the Uniforms for Kids initiative help students begin the school year with greater confidence and preparation. We welcome Brennan Plummer as the new music director and organist at St. Joseph Cathedral and celebrate the completion of renovations at the St. Vincent de Paul thrift store, a continued resource for serving those in need.
