Spiritual Direction

Spiritual Direction is a ministry of holy listening.  A spiritual director accompanies someone to help them grow closer to God, to strengthen their interior life, and to discern God's invitations in their life.  A spiritual director invites a directee to connect prayer and their everyday life and to bring their relationship with God into all they do.    

Spiritual Direction is distinguished from teaching, counseling and faith companioning as the purpose is to help a person grow in their prayer life and to help a person with discernment.  The director walks with the directee in order to deepen awareness of God's Presence.
